Current Makeup Collection

As I’m moving in two months, I plan on doing an epic destash of my collection. I thought it would be fun to do a “before” post, both as a reference for me, so I can feel accomplished by seeing everything I will downsize, and also to share (I always like looking at other people’s makeup collections). Most of my makeup is organized on my bathroom counter in these acrylic organizers from Amazon. I keep my skincare in a drawer underneath the counter and the closet right next to my bathroom. This is going to be a very picture-heavy post!

Organizer 1 (L to R)

20150705-IMG_5443Mascaras in the upper left, lip pencils right next to it, mainly skincare items / serums on top.

20150705-IMG_5445Colourpop shadows on the left, thread for threading my upper lip/eyebrows and acne stickers with blotting papers on the right.

20150705-IMG_5446

Blushes upon blushes.

20150705-IMG_5447

Eye stuff! Pencils, Shu Uemura Painting gel eyeliner, Tom Ford cream eyeshadow (LE), Urban Decay Grindhouse Sharpener, various double-ended eye brushes.

Organizer 2

20150705-IMG_5439

Eyeliners in the upper left, most-used eye products right next to it, sunscreens and balms in the left front, (tinted) lip balms and other lip products, sample-size Benefit Fake-Up, and bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Cream Eyeshadow.

20150705-IMG_5440

Highlighters and concealers on the left, lip gloss on the right.

20150705-IMG_5441

More highlighters/illuminators, setting powders.

20150705-IMG_5442

Primers and bronzers.

Organizer 3

20150705-IMG_5437

Eye creams with a couple palettes on the left-side with face brushes for cleansing. A few foundations in the back right. Lip products in front of that (yeah, I like Givenchy LE lipsticks).

20150705-IMG_5436

Irregularly shaped lip stuff (Guerlain Rouge G, Tata Harper Lip and Cheek Tint), drugstore lip products with Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick mixed in there on right (since I think consistency is similar to the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balms).

20150705-IMG_5435

More lip stuff! A lot of bite and NARS lip pencils, Urban Decay and Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy minis.

20150705-IMG_5434

Miscellaneous larger lip products with balms and other minis.

20150705-IMG_5449

In front, I just have some miscellaneous products and some products I’m in the middle of trying out.

20150705-IMG_5450

Some skincare, masks, and makeup wipes, with my most-used travel makeup bags tucked in the back (can only see a bit of them).

The Shelves. Thankfully, I don’t have to share this closet with anyone, and it’s right next to the bathroom, so I can guiltlessly hog most of it. My parents store some stuff in here, too, but it’s not pictured.

Top Shelf

20150705-IMG_5463

L to R: Masks, eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, beautyblender / miscellaneous.

Middle Shelf

20150705-IMG_5462

L to R: Haircare, couple perfume minis, skincare, sunscreens, lip balms.

Bottom Shelf

20150705-IMG_5464

L to R: Hair straightener, extra toothbrush, brush cleaning stuff, lotions, nail polishes, jewelry, back-up train case.

That’s all of my “in-rotation” makeup! I have a lot of backup stuff from subscription boxes stocked away, but…that will make for another post, because this one is so long already!

See any familiar products? Any tips on destashing?

  1. Good luck with destashing. I’m trying to do the same right now and it’s tough. I noticed you have the Chosungah Ver. 22 glow pact (?). In the highlighter drawer. What do you think of it? –Angela

    1. I like it! I use these liquid highlighters/illuminators more during the winter, since during the summer I usually reach for more powders, but I did like this one. It’s also nice that it comes with a pad, so I can also use it in more targeted areas as a concentrated highlighter.
